Small Employer Retirement Survey (SERS)
The Small Employer Retirement Survey (SERS) interviews 300 small employers (with five to 100 full-time workers) in the United States that do not have a retirement plan. The survey provides insight into why these companies do not offer retirement plans, how much they know about the different retirement plan options and incentives offered to small businesses, and what would motivate them to offer their employees a plan. The findings are presented in a separate report devoted to small-employer issues. Trend data is included in the reports.
SERS is sponsored by the Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI), the American Savings Education Council (ASEC), and Mathew Greenwald & Associates (Greenwald).
